ON THE JOB TRAINING

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Setting up the work zone using the appropriate safety standards.
• Controlling traffic with temporary traffic signals, concrete barrier, steel barrier, message boards and much more.
• Breaking down and picking up the work zone upon completion of the operation.
• Operate equipment, including Forklifts, Skid Steer, Truck & Trailer combo.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Properly complete quantity sheets.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Pass a pre-employment DOT physical.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, and dusty environments.
• Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
• Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Be able to work overtime when required.
• Must have strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Communication skills; Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Report to work at the designated start time.
• Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas.
