Job summary

Sunstall Inc. in Virginia is seeking Laborers/Groundmen to support land clearing and construction projects such as solar farms, commercial developments, and right-of-way clearing. The role focuses on safety, quality, and efficiency on outdoor sites.

You will assist operators, perform debris removal, site preparation, and other tasks, with a reliable, safety-minded approach. Travel to jobsites may be required; per diem provided where applicable; benefits include health insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Prior construction or land clearing experience preferred but not required (will train).
• Ability to safely use hand tools and small equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions.
• Travel to jobsites with per diem provided where applicable.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from site.
• Willing to work 40-hour weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assist equipment operators and crews with daily site operations.
• Perform manual labor tasks such as debris clearing and site setup.
• Maintain safe work zones by spotting for equipment and directing traffic.
• Use hand tools, chainsaws, and small equipment as directed.
• Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Report hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues promptly to supervisors.
• Support land clearing and construction crews with additional tasks as needed.
