Responsibilities

  • Operate Delkor machines ensuring correct cups, lids and product codes meet daily orders.
  • Ensure packaging and products meet quality standards; report issues immediately.
  • Follow sampling matrix; maintain proper weights and operating speeds; minimize changeover downtime.
  • Perform required code and seal inspections and enter data in Hood Efficiency tracker program.
  • Verify cup/lid scanner functionality; notify Supervisor/QA if not working properly.
  • Coordinate with Filler Operators, Palletizers and Stock personnel for efficient operation.
  • Maintain SQF documentation; keep work areas compliant with GMP and SQF requirements.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and wear PPE; stay until task is completed or relieved.
  • Accept other assignments from Supervisor or Foreman.

The job responsibilities for this position are as follows:

This job includes the proficient operation of all Delkors. Candidates will be required to understand the following operational needs. They must ensure all daily orders are filled using the correct cups, lids, and codes. Ensure that the packaging and products meet our quality standards at all times and report issues immediately. Follow sampling matrix. Maintain proper weights and operating speeds at all times and keep changeover down time to a minimum. Perform the required code and seal inspections. Enter all required data in the Hood Efficiency tracker program. Ensure the cup/lid scanner is performing adequately and notify the Supervisor or QA department if not working properly. Work with Filler Operators, Palletizers, and Stock personnel to ensure an efficient operation. Maintain all documented information as per SQF requirements. Keep all work areas neat and clean at all times, to conform to GMP and SQF requirements. Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm’s way. Must stay until job is completed or relieved. Must perform any other assignments by a Supervisor or Foreman. This description is not all inclusive and is subject to change.
