Job summary

Picks Gallery is seeking a Skilled Installer to lead high-quality installations of fireplaces, showers, mirrors, and other home-improvement products. You will read blueprints, perform site assessments, and interact with homeowners to explain processes and care instructions.

With 2+ years in related trades, you’ll use hand and power tools safely, maintain the job site, and document work and materials. A valid license and strong customer service are required for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a related skilled trade such as HVAC, carpentry, remodeling, flooring, cabinet making, or complex appliance installation.
• Proven ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert installations of fireplaces, stoves, custom glass (shower doors/mirrors), stonework, and other products according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to ensure accurate assembly and placement.
• Conduct site assessments to plan for a smooth, efficient, and safe installation process.
• Interact professionally with homeowners, explaining the installation process, answering questions, and providing instructions on product use and care.
• Perform diagnostic checks, service, and repairs on a variety of systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and job site.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time on the job.

Position Summary:

As a Skilled Installer, you will be the face of our company, responsible for the high-quality installation and service of a wide variety of home improvement products. What You'll Do (Essential Duties):

What We're Looking For (Qualifications):
