Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking an Industrial Painter for an aerospace manufacturing facility in O’Fallon, MO. In this hands-on role, you will apply high-performance coatings to precision-fabricated components and maintain a clean, safety-focused environment.

First shift 6:00am–2:30pm; primers, paints, and specialty coatings familiarity; OSHA procedures. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of industrial painting experience, can read work instructions, and is detail-oriented.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial painting experience in manufacturing.
• Experience applying industrial coatings using spray equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and specifications.
• Experience completing production paperwork and quality documentation.
• Forklift/overhead crane experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting components prior to painting.
• Apply primers, paints, and specialty coatings using spray equipment.
• Follow work instructions, drawings, and customer specifications to ensure quality standards.
• Inspect painted parts for coverage, thickness, finish quality, and appearance.
• Maintain production records and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing specifications and OSHA safety procedures.
• Monitor paint supplies and notify when replenishment is needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
