Job summary

Prairie Farms Dairy, Inc. in Orrville, Ohio is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team. You will perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems, PLCs, AC drives, refrigeration and processing/filling equipment, and contribute to a safe, efficient plant culture.

We offer a climate-controlled facility, company-provided uniforms, paid breaks, and premium supports such as tool and cell phone allowances, plus paid schooling. Overtime and multiple shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Repair electrical systems, PLCs, AC drives, refrigeration and processing/filling equipment.
• Maintenance background including pneumatics, hydraulics and welding.
• Excellent communication and quality-focused work ethic.
• Must pass pulmonary function test.
• Willing to learn ammonia refrigeration.
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs regularly.
• High school diploma preferred; GED assistance available.

Responsibilities

• Able to repair electrical systems, PLC's, AC Drives, refrigeration equipment, and processing and filling equipment
• Maintenance background that should include experience in pneumatics, hydraulics and welding
• Must have good communication skills and be responsible for quality work
• Must be able to pass pulmonary function test
• Must learn and work with ammonia refrigeration
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs on a regular basis
• High School diploma preferred
• GED assistance available

• Pay dependent on experience
• Additional premiums available

• Normally a 5 day work week
• Multiple Shifts Available
• Overtime will be required
