Responsibilities:

• Assist with the activities of daily living to help clients stay independent and in their own homes
• Provide assistance with personal care
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding
• Properly manage household needs
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family
• Engage in meaningful activities
• Listen to stories and share conversations

Qualifications:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Access to reliable transportation
• Experience caring for veterans
• High regard for elders
• Previous experience as a home caregiver with clients living with dementia
• CA Home Care Aide registration
• Ability to work in Fremont, Newark, and Union City
• Good health and a positive spirit
