Job summary

The Systems Group is seeking an energetic Skilled Helper to join our NAS – Ghent team, focusing on daily issue resolution and long-term operational strategy. This role supports pipefitting and welding tasks, maintains a clean workspace, and helps with supply restocking.

Qualified candidates will have prior industrial experience, wear OSHA-met boots, and pass a pre-employment drug screen. We offer benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous skilled helper experience in an industrial setting is preferred
• OSHA Approved Met-Guard boots (annual company allowance provided)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Clean work area
• Restock supplies and materials
• Assist with lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and workpieces
• Disassemble and remove damaged materials from the work area
• Assist journeyman employees with task-related to pipefitting or welding
• Use power tools when applicable
