Job summary

Alamo NEX Construction, LLC, part of the Ferrovial Group in Texas, seeks an Operator to run heavy equipment on a major design-build project along the I-35 corridor. This on-site role emphasizes safety, accurate equipment operation, and teamwork with the construction crew to meet demanding schedules.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of similar experience, English or Spanish communication, and the required certifications to operate equipment in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate in English or Spanish via verbal and written communications.
• Move throughout a construction jobsite which includes minor obstacles including climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
• Work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind
• Minimum of three (3) years of similar experience.
• Must possess required certifications to operate applicable equipment.
