The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for its Channahon, IL mulch and soil manufacturing facility. The role involves using a loader to prepare organic mixes, relocating stockpiles, and supporting production with a steady material flow.

Requirements include HS diploma or GED and 1+ year of equipment experience. The position is hourly, paid weekly, with competitive benefits and a 24.50/hour starting rate.

Qualifications

• Able to work in dusty, dirty environment.
• Work in all weather elements, including heat and cold.
• Lift 50 pounds.
• Physical ability to climb in and out of equipment.
• Sit for long periods.
• Safely operate heavy equipment.
• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
• One or more years of experience using medium and/or heavy equipment.

Responsibilities
