Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of documented painting experience required.
• Experience using common painting tools and trade devices, including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and specialty tools.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and work in environments involving dust, chemicals, oil, soot, grease, and fumes.
• OSHA 30-hour construction training and PPE compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform coating work using brushing, rolling, spraying, and other accepted application methods.
• Apply coatings to achieve smooth decorative finishes and required thickness levels.
• Prepare surfaces through smoothing, filling, shaping, leveling, and related prep methods.
• Repair and alter paintable surfaces including walls, floors, ceilings, windows, and doors.
• Remove wallpaper and prepare surfaces for refinishing.
