The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, physically capable, and eager to contribute to project success in a team-oriented environment.This position offers opportunities to gain experience across multiple disciplines, including environmental remediation, construction, drilling, excavation, and site restoration.What You’ll Be DoingGeneral Labor & Field SupportPerform general construction and labor duties including loading, unloading, digging, lifting, and debris removalSupport job site preparation, cleanup, and material staging activitiesAssist with excavation, grading, and concrete work as neededMove and organize materials, equipment, and supplies throughout project sitesEquipment & Tool OperationOperate and maintain basic hand tools and power toolsAssist with setting up and dismantling job site barriers, materials, and equipmentOperate forklifts, skid steers, or small equipment when certified or authorizedAssist in maintaining equipment and reporting maintenance concernsProject Team SupportSupport construction crews, skilled trades, field technicians, engineers, and project teamsFollow work plans, instructions, and project requirementsAssist with various field operations as directed by supervisors and project leadershipSafety & ComplianceFollow all company, client, and site-specific safety proceduresMaintain awareness of surroundings and potential hazardsReport unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or hazards immediatelyParticipate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and required training programsWhat You BringRequiredHigh School Diploma or GED0–1 years of experience in construction, environmental, industrial, or general labor positionsStrong work ethic, reliability, and punctualityBasic understanding of construction or field operationsAbility to safely operate hand tools and basic equipmentAbility to follow instructions and work independently when neededStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to complete Tasman safety and field training requirementsValid driver's licenseAuthorization to work in the United StatesPreferredExperience working on environmental, remediation, construction, or oil & gas projectsOSHA 10-Hour CertificationExperience with heavy equipment or mechanical operationsAbility to read and interpret simple blueprints, drawings, or diagramsWork EnvironmentThis role operates primarily in outdoor and industrial environments.Field ConditionsExposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, snow, and windExposure to noise, dust, moving equipment, and industrial work environmentsWork on uneven terrain and active project sitesPotential exposure to environmental and construction-related hazardsRegular collaboration with construction, drilling, and environmental field crewsPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and liftingAbility to perform physically demanding work throughout the dayMedium physical effort requiredAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to work outdoors for extended periodsScheduleFull-timeMonday – Friday, typically 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.Occasional overtime and weekend work based on project requirementsStart and end times may vary depending on project needsWork AuthorizationMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust possess a valid driver's licenseBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company match (up to 4%)Health Savings Account (HSA) & Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Paid sick timeTuition reimbursementSafety equipment providedEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Why Join Tasman?At Tasman Inc, we deliver environmental, construction, and consulting solutions with a strong commitment to safety, integrity, and excellence.
