Job Description:

We are a high-end construction and property management company seeking experienced, hard-working, reliable, and responsible framing carpenters/construction labor to join our growing team! Minimum duties will include constructing the general framework of buildings and other structures according to construction plans and direction of the superintendent. The framing carpenter's responsibilities include using plumb bobs and levels to ensure that structures are exactly vertical or horizontal, constructing window and door frames as well as staircases and flooring, and installing temporary supports for structures as required. You should also be able to hang drywall over the completed framework.

Framing Carpenter Responsibilities:

1. Accurately measure, cut, and shape lumber, wood, metal, and other building materials.
2. Attach building materials using screws, nuts, and bolts.
3. Erect temporary structures such as scaffolds and hoists.
4. Perform repairs on existing framework structures that are damaged or structurally unsound.
5. Analyze blueprints and drawings to determine the structural dimensions of the framework to be constructed.
6. Analyze construction plans to identify potential structural problems.
7. Examine building materials to identify any defects.
8. Perform cleanups of job sites by clearing away all carpentry debris and waste.

Framing Carpenter Requirements:

1. Sound knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
2. Must have own tools.
3. Physical strength and stamina.
4. The ability to interpret blueprints.
5. The ability to safely use hand and power tools.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
