Job description

Position Title: Fluxcore Welder

Wage: $52,000-$62,400/year

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:30am-5pm

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Fluxcore Welder for a company in Gurnee, IL. This is a direct hire role.

Fluxcore Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products using FCAW, GTAW, GMAW, and SAW Processes
2. Install and repair various equipment and components
3. Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
4. Calculate material measurements to verify specifications

Fluxcore Welder Requirements:

1. Experience with Flux core and MIG and TIG welding
2. Ability to work on turntable
3. Ability to work on round objects using degree measurements
4. Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
5. Familiarity with welding tools and procedures in the tank building industry
6. Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
7. Ability to handle physical workload
8. A strong commitment to safety
9. Good communication and interpersonal skills
10. Excellent time management and organizational skills
