Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and trade training in fabrication.
• Two (2) years of prior fabrication experience.
• Completion of trade school or equivalent with related training.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate components using hand/power tools and welding equipment.
• Work with raw materials to produce parts per drawings and specs.
• Maintain and repair equipment and district buildings as needed.
• Set up fabricating machines like brakes, rolls, and cutters.
• Inspect welds with precision measuring tools and verify conformance.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear.
• Maintain inventory of welding consumables and materials.
• Assist with rework or repair of welded parts per engineering changes.
