We are currently seeking dependable, experienced, and safety-minded Construction General Laborers and Skilled Construction Workers for opportunities supporting our clients construction projects throughout the Oklahoma City area. This is a higher-tier construction assignment intended for candidates who take their work seriously, understand the expectations of an active commercial jobsite, and can meet strict client screening and safety requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

Responsibilities will vary based on the project, construction phase, and needs of the assigned crew. Duties may include:

Assisting with commercial construction projects
Performing general construction labor
Supporting carpenters and other skilled tradespeople
Preparing work areas before construction begins

Skilled Construction Experience

Candidates being considered for the $18.00/hour skilled classification may have experience in areas such as:

Commercial construction
Carpentry – Rough carpentry, Finish carpentry, Wood framing, Metal framing
Concrete – Form setting, Concrete finishing, Drywall, Demolition, Remodeling, Restoration
Roofing, Masonry, Waterproofing, Door and hardware installation
Millwork installation, Trim work
Site preparation, Blueprint familiarity, Construction layout, Accurate measuring
Material staging, Scaffolding, Mechanical lifts, Construction equipment

Tool Experience

Strong candidates should be familiar with basic construction tools. Depending on experience, this may include:

Work Environment

This is a physically demanding construction position. Candidates should be prepared to work:

On active commercial construction sites – Indoors and outdoors
In hot weather, in cold weather, in dusty environments, around construction equipment, around moving materials, at elevated heights when properly trained, on ladders or scaffolding when required, around multiple trades working at the same time
Job locations may change depending on project needs.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be capable of performing the essential duties of construction work. This may include:

Standing for extended periods
Walking throughout construction sites
Bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, climbing

Pre‑Employment Screening Requirements

This assignment requires a higher level of pre‑employment screening than many standard construction positions. Candidates must successfully complete all required screening before being placed on assignment. Requirements include:

National criminal background check
10‑panel drug screen
Social Security number verification
E‑Verify / employment authorization verification
Review of applicable criminal‑history information
Any additional project‑specific screening required by Nabholz
Additional screening may be required depending on the specific project location. For example, school, healthcare, financial, government, or other regulated projects may carry additional eligibility requirements.

Background Screening

Background results are reviewed according to the requirements established by Nabholz and the specific project. Certain criminal convictions may affect eligibility depending on:
