Crowder Construction Co. is seeking a Concrete Finisher to place and finish surfaces of poured concrete—floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, and curbs—using a range of hand tools. You will also prepare forms, ensure proper grades, and inspect finished work on multi-site projects.

The role requires 18+ years, drug screen passing, US work eligibility, and may include travel. Tools are hand tools (power tools excluded). Crowder offers a comprehensive benefits package and values safety and teamwork.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to pass a drug test.
• Legally eligible to work in the US.
• Additional requirements for craftworkers include reliable transportation to and from jobsite, own hand tools (excluding power tools), and willingness to travel to multi-state opportunities.

Aufgaben

• Move discharge chute of truck to direct concrete into forms, then spread, level, and smooth using hand or power tools.
• Set forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch, grade, depth.
• Check forms to ensure proper construction.
• Chip, scrape, and grind high spots and rough projections to finish concrete.
• Mold expansion joints and edges with edging tools and straightedge.
• Monitor wind, heat, or cold effects on curing throughout the process.
• Utilize concrete vibrators to consolidate concrete.
• Follow all safety policies and complete additional duties as directed by supervisor.
