Job summary

Reeves Construction Company seeks a skilled concrete finisher with experience in bridge and heavy highway construction. The role involves placing concrete, finishing to final grade, and performing related carpentry tasks.

Safety and proper technique are emphasized as core requirements. Minimum 2+ years in concrete work, ability to read and interpret safety rules, and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2+ years in the concrete phase of bridge/heavy highway construction.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Places concrete to final line and grade with the appropriate finish.
• Able to point and patch concrete after forms are removed, working safely on scaffolds or lifts.
• Performance of carpentry tasks between placing and finishing.
• Maintain safety as per company policies while performing duties.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 60 pounds.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
