Immel Construction is seeking a reliable Concrete Finisher to place, finish, protect, and repair concrete on various construction projects. The role requires strong practical experience, safety mindset, and the ability to work in outdoor conditions.

The candidate should be proficient in forming, placing rebar or mesh, finishing surfaces, joint cutting, curing agents, and reading blueprints. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a concrete finisher or similar role in the construction industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete construction.
• Knowledge of concrete types, finishing techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Prepare job sites by setting forms, compacting subgrade, and placing rebar or mesh as needed.
• Pour, level, and finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Cut joints with a groover or saw to control cracking.
• Apply curing agents and sealants as required.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to meet required grades and finishes.
• Operate equipment such as skid steers, power trowels, screeds, rider and concrete saws.
• Maintain a safe and clean worksite, following all safety procedures and regulations.
• Assist with general labor tasks as required.
