Job summary

B&B Concrete in Bloomington, IN is seeking a dependable Concrete Carpenter to join our field crew. Under the Foreman you will erect and set forms for foundations, buildings and tilt-up panels, reading drawings and ensuring accurate alignment and spacing.

You must have physical stamina, be able to supply basic hand tools, hold a valid driver’s license, and be willing to obtain OSHA certification. Occasional weekend work may be required to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble tilt up panels.
• Able to form footings, column pads and other structural concrete.
• Install and align embedded items such as anchor bolts, inserts and lifting hardware.
• Assist with layout as needed.
• Strip forms after panels are poured.
• Maintain and keep track of tools.
