Job Description:

You will be responsible for an individual's safety and well-being to provide supportive non-clinical care. Schedules may vary from 2-hour shifts and beyond as we do care for some clients 24/7, so scheduling is flexible to either part-time, full-time, or as available. We are seeking adaptable, compassionate, honest, in-home caregivers to provide the best care possible to seniors as well as others who need in-home care.

Requirements:

1. Must have high school diploma or equivalent
2. Must have valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required, and current, up-to-date insurance
3. Must adhere to plans of care for client
4. Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
5. One year of in-home caregiver experience preferred
6. Must have good communication skills, have active listening, between clients/families and staff
7. Must be able to be calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status

Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
2. Medication reminders
3. Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
4. Prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions
5. Transportation to and from shops, pharmacy, or appointments
6. Perform light housekeeping duties for the client
7. Be a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion

Skills:

1. One year proven experience as an in-home caregiver (Preferred)
2. Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as hoyer lift, wheelchairs, transfer bench, walker/training is available
3. Excellent knowledge of emergency response, CPR preferred
4. Knowledge of housekeeping activities
5. Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
6. Respectful and compassionate
7. Good time management skills
8. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
9. Strong ethics

Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
