Job summary
Michael's Keys Locksmith in Hurst, TX is seeking an experienced Commercial Door & Glass Technician / Glazier to manage field estimates, scheduling and hands-on installation of storefront glass and hollow metal doors.
The ideal candidate will install, repair, and troubleshoot hollow metal doors, frames, and storefront glass systems, with overhead door repair a strong plus. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift heavy materials are required.
Qualifications
- Industry experience as Commercial Glazier, Door Technician, or Storefront Installer.
- Strong proficiency with storefront systems, hollow metal doors, and glass installation.
- Overhead door repair experience is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace storefront aluminum systems, glass units, and hollow metal doors and frames.
- Perform glazing duties, including cutting, fitting, setting, and weatherproofing/caulking glass in storefront assemblies.
- Install and adjust commercial door hardware, including door closers, exit devices, hinges, and locksets.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, frame alignments, and overhead door assemblies.
- Generate accurate material lists and job estimates to support bids.
