Job summary

Caliente Construction in Tempe, AZ is seeking a skilled carpenter to support commercial projects. The role involves rough and finish carpentry, layout, framing, trim, and installing doors, frames, and millwork while reading drawings and following safety guidelines.

You will work with superintendents and trades to deliver high-quality, safe work on site; must have basic carpentry knowledge, ability to lift 50+ lbs, valid driver's license, OSHA 10 a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial carpentry or construction experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and methods.
• Ability to read tape measures and understand basic construction drawings.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather and jobsite conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• OSHA 10 certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finish carpentry on commercial construction projects
• Assist with layout, framing, and trim carpentry
• Install doors, frames, hardware, millwork, and specialty items as needed
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
• Assist other trades and perform general labor duties as required
• Follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations
