Job summary

TalentLogistiX is seeking experienced Skilled Carpenters for commercial construction projects in the Marion County area, including Indianapolis, IN. The role involves reading blueprints, performing rough and finish carpentry, and ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient project completion.

Willingness to travel for project needs with per diem available for qualifying assignments more than 50 miles from the main location. Pay ranges from $28.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong measuring, layout, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finish carpentry on construction and renovation projects.
• Read blueprints and project specifications to plan work.
• Measure, cut, and install wood and other building materials.
• Construct, install, and repair framing, doors, trim, cabinetry, and related structures.
• Perform drywall, siding, flooring and general finish work as needed.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Complete repairs, modifications, and punch list items.
• Maintain quality workmanship and safety on site.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA requirements.
