Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in machining, CNC toolpathing, or foundry pattern work.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Experience with CNC machine setup and material fixturing.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate 3- and 5-axis CNC machines using CAM software such as PowerMill or Mastercam.
• Set up machines with the proper tools, fixtures, and settings.
• Make tooling components using CNC machines, lathes, drill presses, saws, and other shop equipment.
• Move materials using overhead hoists and forklifts.
• Suggest ways to prevent machine problems and improve machine performance.
