Comfort Keepers is seeking a skilled CNA to work in Gainesville with a 24/7 client. The caregiver will provide companionship and personal care, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, eating, and toileting. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, punctual, experienced in Parkinson's care, and comfortable using a Sit to Stand machine. Reliability, empathy, and the ability to work with diverse individuals are essential.

Starting pay up to $23/hr based on availability, credentials, and experience. Flexible scheduling is preferred, with shifts available Monday-Sunday, days and overnights, including:

• Monday-Thursday 6pm-10:30pm
• Monday-Sunday 10:30pm-8:30am

The candidate should have experience with bed-bound patients and hospice care, assisting with bathing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, and providing companionship. The home includes cats. This is not a remote position; daily commuting is required. Applicants must reside within 30 minutes of Gainesville and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain any specialized training and perform additional tasks as needed for the assigned patient.

Requirements:

• Must be 18+
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Personal Care experience
• Pass background checks, drug testing, and have good references
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, reliable transportation
• Willing to travel up to 30 miles
• Current CPR, First Aid, TB test (must be completed before orientation)
• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
