KH Properties is seeking an experienced Construction Carpenter to support renovation work across a portfolio of multifamily properties in the Jackson, MS area. This role emphasizes hands-on carpentry and reliable contributions within a structured team, with no supervisory duties.

You will work from plans and scopes to deliver high-quality craftsmanship. The position offers hourly pay and requires physical ability, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel between properties.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on construction or carpentry experience.
• Strong technical carpentry skills with ability to deliver high-quality work.
• Comfortable working from plans, scopes, and directions without needing to lead others.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and steady in performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on carpentry and construction tasks including framing, layout, demolition, drywall, finish carpentry, concrete work, site work, grading, and drainage.
• Execute work with precision and consistency, following established plans, scopes, and quality standards.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, saws, and measurement equipment.
• Complete assigned tasks independently while collaborating with the broader construction crew.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and ensure tools and equipment are kept in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols at all times and contribute to a jobsite culture focused on doing things right.
