Job summary

Goodman Realty Group seeks an experienced carpenter to work at Winrock Town Center. You will build forms and structures from wood, read blueprints, and manage finishing and shop tasks across interior and exterior projects.

The role requires reading plans, performing material takeoffs, and using routers, table saws, planers, joiners, and other tools. A minimum of vocational training or 3 years' experience is expected, with a valid New Mexico driver's license.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of vocational school or technical college or apprenticeship program, or at least three years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, policies, and procedures.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Measures, marks, and arranges materials based on blueprints.
• Cuts and shapes structures from wood and other materials.
• Uses hand and power tools to build projects.
• Joins materials with nails, screws, or adhesives.
• Ensures accuracy with levels and framing squares; resolves issues.
• Creates wooden forms for concrete or structural needs.
• Adheres to local codes and safety guidelines.
• Reads blueprints and understands directions; computes takeoffs.
• Careful handling of tools; understanding carpentry principles.
