• Skilled carpenter with ability to measure, cut, install and repair wood components.
• Experience planning and completing projects involving framing, trim, cabinets, and stairs.
• Knowledge of concrete and masonry work to support facility projects.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, construct, install, and repair wood and wood-substitute components.
• Independently plan and complete projects involving framing, stairs, and beams.
• Install and repair metal framing for interior walls and ceilings.
• Lay out materials using woodworking techniques and precision methods.
• Perform concrete and masonry work as required for projects.
• Construct and repair scaffolding, forms, and roof decking.
• Rotate between Montgomery and Tuskegee VA campuses as needed.
