SERVPRO of Fort Dodge is seeking a reliable carpenter to join our growing team in Fort Dodge, Iowa. You will construct, install, and repair wooden structures according to blueprints, working in a hands-on, in-person environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of professional carpentry or construction experience.
• Proficiency with standard woodworking and construction power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and work orders.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 75–100 lbs and work in varying weather.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to local jobsites.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair wooden structures, frameworks, and fixtures according to blueprints or layouts.
• Operate a variety of tools safely, including hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
• Perform rough and finish carpentry, including framing, drywall, doors, trim work, and cabinetry installation.
• Maintain a safe and organized job site while adhering to OSHA and company safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, crew members, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule.
