Job summary

Senior Helpers of Greater Chicago is seeking Skilled Caregivers/CNAs to join our award-winning team. We provide paid orientation, ongoing training, and flexible scheduling in Mundelein, Vernon Hills and surrounding Chicagoland areas. Qualifications

• At least 5 years hands-on caregiving experience.
• Experience with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility support.
• Knowledge of safe patient handling and transfer techniques (gait belts, Hoyer lifts, wheelchair).
• Familiarity with monitoring vital signs, reminders for medications, and documenting changes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding while preserving dignity.
• Provide mobility support and safe transfers.
• Provide medication reminders per established care plans.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist feeding as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment to prevent infections.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote well-being.
• Follow safety procedures and infection control guidelines.
