Job summary

Middlesex Corp. seeks a skilled Pile Driver / Welder to join our heavy civil and bridge construction teams in Massachusetts. You will install footing piles, earth support systems, and perform structural welding on major projects, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in pile driving or bridge work, strong welding skills, and the ability to read blueprints. Valid driver’s license required; OSHA 10 preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of pile driving, bridge construction or related heavy civil experience.
• Experience on bridge projects preferred.
• Proficient in structural welding and use of cutting torches, plasma arc equipment, and welding machines.
• Ability to read construction drawings and welding specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install footing piles and earth support systems per foreman’s guidance.
• Perform structural welding on bridge and heavy civil projects.
• Read blueprints, layouts, and specifications to guide work.
• Inspect and ensure work meets project quality standards.
• Assist with rigging, lifting, and positioning heavy materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and store equipment properly.
