Job summary

Metraflex Company in McCook, IL is seeking an assembler for our manufacturing team. The role focuses on assembling sub-assemblies to print specifications and requires attention to detail, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.

You will operate heavy machinery including forklifts, use hand tools, and record labor time in our systems. A high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of manufacturing experience are expected; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years in heavy manufacturing environment.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; team player.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus; metalworking machinery experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble various sub-assemblies to print and worksheet specifications.
• Operate heavy machinery including forklifts and hand jacks.
• Use a range of hand tools including drills and air tools.
• Interface with coworkers to accomplish goals.
• Use scanners to pick inventory for jobs and record labor time.
