Job summary

REIC Rentals in Yakima, WA is seeking a Yard Technician under the DoD SkillBridge program. You'll wash, inspect, and prepare rental equipment for delivery while upholding safety standards.

This full-time role offers hands-on training, exposure to heavy equipment, and a path to future opportunities within our North American network. Applicants must be active-duty military eligible for SkillBridge and able to pass forklift and safety trainings.

Qualifications

• Active-duty U.S. military members eligible for DoD SkillBridge.
• Experience working outside in all weather conditions and with heavy equipment.
• Ability to load and wash equipment and interact with customers.
• Ability to pass forklift, AWP, and propane training tests.
• Strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Wash and detail rental equipment before delivery.
• Inspect equipment for quality and readiness.
• Manage hookup and receiving of trailers or smaller rented items.
• Enhance yard appearance and organization.
• Prepare yard for opening/closing and coordinate with Rental Coordinator.
