Black Cape offers a Skillbridge Internship for Software Engineers at ALL levels in the Arlington, VA area, hybrid in-office and strong emphasis on ML, AI and cloud technologies.

The internship supports candidates with various tech backgrounds, including CS, engineering and bootcamp paths. Candidates with military experience and a TS/SCI CI Poly clearance are considered; Secret clearances may be possible.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1+ year of technical experience (software)
• Proficient in at least one OO language (Java/Python/C#/C++)
• Experience with an MVC framework (e.g., Spring, Django, Flask, Rails)
• Experience with a relational DB (MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQLite)
• Working knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of HTTP/HTML/REST/CSS/JavaScript

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native web applications for government and commercial customers
• Contribute to data analysis tools and machine learning capabilities
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and adhere to delivery schedules
• Support internship-to-full-time conversion and project transitions
