Job summary

Siemens Mobility, Inc. in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Field Service Technician Coach through the DoD SkillBridge program.

The role includes training customer maintenance personnel, supporting service and maintenance activities for the Charger locomotive fleet, and collaborating with engineering and dispatch teams to ensure safe, cost-effective operations. The position is a 3rd shift (9:30pm–6:00am), Monday–Friday, with occasional travel for training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical discipline required.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
• Strong English technical communication skills.
• Willingness to travel ~10% (training in Chicago, IL).

Responsibilities

• Provide field service coaching to maintenance staff to improve equipment reliability.
• Assist in maintenance activities and train customer personnel.
• Collaborate with rail operations, engineering, and dispatch teams for safe, efficient operations.
• Coordinate with third party vendors to ensure proper operation of components.
