Job summary

American Medical Response is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for a DOD SkillBridge Fellowship in Colorado Springs. This unique opportunity allows active-duty military members to gain civilian experience in medical response while responding to both emergency and non-emergency medical calls.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and delivering patient care, collaborating with health personnel, and participating in community programs to uphold AMR’s image. A high school diploma, state EMT license, and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current active‑duty Service Member who meets DoD SkillBridge qualifications.
• Available to participate for at least 90 days.
• Obtain approval from unit commander for participation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
