Qualifications

• Assist with maintaining 24/7 staff coverage including working other shifts as needed.
• Assess and monitor residents behaviours and intervene as appropriate.

• Prepare and maintain written case records, reports and forms including case follow up and closing.
• Maintain standards, policies, procedures and regulations in accordance with laws and ethical standards.

About the Role

Our Mission at Meridian Health Services is to close the gap on access to Whole Person Healthcare by expanding locations and services so that all people in underserved communities can get quality treatment. We are currently seeking a full time Skill Builder to join our Addictions and Recovery Center located in West Lafayette, Indiana for Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel, monitor and support individuals experiencing substance use and mental illness disorders.
• Evaluate, prepare and implement case management plans.
• Organize and conduct client skills training and education groups.
• Assist with maintaining 24/7 staff coverage including working other shifts as needed.
• Assess and monitor residents behaviours and intervene as appropriate.

• Maintain Meridian Health Services standards, policies, procedures and regulations in accordance with local, state and federal laws and with ethical standards of the profession.

Experience in behavioral health or social services is a plus.

High school diploma or its equivalent with 2 years behavioral healthcare experience or equivalent college coursework toward a human services or health related degree required; Associate Degree preferred.
