B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc. in Manheim, PA is seeking a full-time Skid Loader/Mini Hoe Operator for the General Excavating Department. You’ll operate skid loader/mini hoe and attachments for excavations, trenching, and utility installs, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate skid loader and mini hoe safely and accurately for excavations, trenching, and utilities.
• Follow safety requirements on the job, including confined spaces, ditch work, and traffic control.
• Read and use blueprints, grade sheets, and record as-builts.
• Perform sanitary sewer, waterline, and storm sewer piping work and testing.
• Assist with daily equipment maintenance and upkeep.
• Support labor tasks as needed and ensure on-site safety.

Job Description

Are you a skid loader/mini hoe operator who enjoys a variety of tasks, takes pride in your work and who wants to work on a team of others who do the same? B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc. is looking for a full-timeSkidLoader/Mini Hoe Operatorin our General Excavating Department. Qualified candidates should be able to operate a skid loader/mini hoe and attachments in a safe manner for accurate excavations, trench work and installing utilities.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of equipment and skilled at operating equipment
• Knowledge of safety requirements on the job, such as confined spaces, ditch work and road traffic control
• Knowledge of and skilled at blueprints, grade sheets and recording as-builts
• Skilled at sanitary sewer pipe work and testing
• Skilled at waterline pipe work, fittings and testing
• Skilled at storm sewer pipe work
• Skilled at grading for site and building pads, hoe-ramming rock and tamping trenches
• Skilled at setting up and adjusting lasers
• Familiar with state, township and borough specifications and requirements
• Daily equipment maintenance
• Assist with labor duties as needed
• Ensure safety of self and others when traveling and on job sites

Experience & Qualifications
