Ski Butlers is seeking a friendly Ski Valet Technician for Edgewood Tahoe Resort in South Lake Tahoe, CA. This seasonal role supports hotel guests by storing equipment, helping with fittings, and delivering a seamless ski service experience.

Shifts cover mornings and evenings, with weekend and holiday work required. Base pay is $18/hour plus tips; prior hospitality experience is preferred but not required, and training is provided to ensure a memorable guest experience.

Responsabilidades

• Uphold Ski Butlers and Edgewood brand standards through exceptional customer service.
• Provide timely, accurate placement and retrieval of guest's skis and other stored equipment.
• Assist guests with fitting and adjusting Ski Butlers equipment as needed.
• Pickup: return gear to the shop, sanitize, re-sticker and prepare for next use.
• Assist guests with information regarding resort operations, meeting areas, on-site hotel amenities, transportation and local mountain town knowledge.
• Set up the next shift and prepare the team for success.
• Enhance the overall skier experience.

About The Role

Valet technicians are the face of Ski Butlers at our on-site hotel service center locations. This role aims to provide a seamless experience for all hotel guests using the hotel's skier services. From arrival to departure, valet technicians' welcome guests to the resort, store their equipment for daily use, work with hotel team members and create a genuine, personal hospitality experience unlike any other.

Primary Responsibilities

• Uphold Ski Butlers and Edgewood brand standards through exceptional customer service while meeting our Key Customer Requirements:
• KCR #1: On Time - arriving within 5 minutes of the agreed upon time
• KCR #2: Communication - setting clear expectations around the entire scope of service
• KCR #3: Equipment - choosing the right equipment for each guest given their skills and current conditions at the resort
• Provide timely, accurate placement and retrieval of guest's skis and other related stored equipment
• Support: assist guests with fitting and adjusting Ski Butlers equipment as needed
• Pickup: All scheduled returns are brought back to the shop, sanitized, re-stickered and tuned for their next use
• Assist guests with relevant information regarding resort operations, meeting areas, on-site hotel amenities, transportation and local mountain town knowledge
• Setting up the next shift and future team members for success
• Enhance the overall skier experience

Secondary Responsibilities

• Basic ski/snowboard tuning, waxing and general equipment maintenance
• Making/Answering customer phone calls and face-to-face questions with a positive and inviting tone of voice
• Taking reservations and issuing refunds
• Anticipating guest needs
• Re-stock amenities
• Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment
