Job summary

Peter Glenn in Orlando, FL is seeking skilled ski technicians to deliver expert service, repair and maintenance for skis and snowboards, including boot fitting, binding installation and adjustment, tuning, stone grinding, hot waxing, delamination repair, base welding and epoxy work.

Technicians also perform shop tasks, assist in other areas when busy, and uphold safety and cleanliness in all operations, while delivering friendly, knowledgeable customer service and keeping gear ready for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Retail experience required.
• Experience on skis and snowboards a plus; willing to train the right applicant.
• Fluent in English; second language desirable.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Passion for mountain sports and ability to share with customers.
• Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide ski/snowboard repair and maintenance services (boot fitting, binding installation, tuning).
• Perform stone grinding, hot waxing, delamination repair and base welding as needed.
• Operate tuning machines and maintain shop cleanliness and safety.
• Assist in other store areas during peak times while maintaining customer service.
