Job summary

Grand Targhee Resort seeks an enthusiastic Snowsports Instructor to teach ski or snowboard lessons to guests of all ages, in group or private settings. The instructor will provide clear demonstrations and constructive feedback to help guests progress while maintaining a safe learning environment and promoting a fun, professional atmosphere on and off the slopes.

The role emphasizes guest service, patience, and ambassadorial duties as part of the resort experience, with opportunities for staff

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication, patience, and guest service skills.
• Must be able to ski/snowboard at the intermediate level.
• PSIA-AASI Certifications and Accreditations or equivalent ISIA organization certification, will provide higher base wage rates.

Responsibilities

• Teach skiing or snowboarding lessons in group or private settings to children, teens, and adults.
• Provide demonstrations and personalized feedback to help guests progress.
• Ensure a safe learning environment by following resort safety policies.
• Deliver excellent guest service with patience and enthusiasm.
• Assist guests with equipment, lift loading/unloading, and navigating resort facilities.
• Represent the resort professionally on and off the slopes.
• Participate in staff training and ongoing professional development.
• Some job sharing may be required.
