Job summary

Mount Ski Gull in the United States seeks an enthusiastic ski and snowboard instructor to teach group and private lessons, helping participants improve their skills while prioritizing safety.

The role is seasonal or part-time, with potential full-time options and required weekend/holiday availability. Compensation ranges from $15 to $22 per hour, plus a season pass and rental perks when lesson quotas are met.

Qualifications

• Prior teaching experience is required.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to teach skiing or snowboarding to varying levels.

Responsibilities

• Instructs group and private lessons for different ability levels.
• Fill out lesson reports after each lesson.
• Assist guests in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Maintain skier/snowboarder safety as a top priority.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Seasonal; Part-time Can be Full-Time combined with other positions


• Must be available to work weekends and holidays


• Ability to help participants improve upon their skiing/snowboarding ability.


• Maintains safety and skier/snowboarder responsibility as top priority while skiing/riding and teaching.


• Instructs group and private lessons of varying ability levels, as assigned.


• Fills out lesson reports for each lesson given.


• Makes continued effort to improve personal skiing/riding skills, teaching skills and knowledge.


• Greets and assists guests in a friendly, helpful, respectful manner.

Job Requirements & Experience include, but not limited to:

• Must be 16+ years of age or older


• Prior teaching experience.


• Comfortable skiing/snowboarding on all Mount Ski Gull runs.


• Pay Rate $15-$22/hr DOE, includes MSG Individual Season Pass & Rentals if a certain amount of lessons/month taught is reached.
