Job summary

Pequot Lakes is seeking seasonal, part-time ski instructors to teach group and private lessons at Mount Ski Gull. Must be available weekends and holidays and help participants improve their skiing/snowboarding abilities.

Applicants should be comfortable skiing/snowboarding on all Mount Ski Gull runs; prior teaching experience preferred. The role emphasizes safety and customer service while delivering lessons and completing lesson reports.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ years of age or older.
• Prior teaching experience.
• Comfortable skiing/snowboarding on all Mount Ski Gull runs.

Responsibilities

• Instruct group and private lessons of varying ability levels.
• Fill out lesson reports for each lesson given.
• Greets and assists guests in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Maintains safety and skier/snowboarder responsibility as top priority while skiing/riding and teaching.
• Help participants improve upon their skiing/snowboarding ability.

Seasonal; Part-time → Can be Full-Time combined with other positions

Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Ability to help participants improve upon their skiing/snowboarding ability.

Maintains safety and skier/snowboarder responsibility as top priority while skiing/riding and teaching.

Instructs group and private lessons of varying ability levels, as assigned.

Fills out lesson reports for each lesson given.

Makes continued effort to improve personal skiing/riding skills, teaching skills and knowledge.

Greets and assists guests in a friendly, helpful, respectful manner.

Job Requirements & Experience include, but not limited to:

Must be 16+ years of age or older

Prior teaching experience.

Comfortable skiing/snowboarding on all Mount Ski Gull runs.

Pay Rate $15-$22/hr DOE, includes MSG Individual Season Pass & Rentals if a certain amount of lessons/month taught is reached.
