This role will work closely with the Ski & Snowboard School Leadership Team, and you will have a part in influencing, guiding, and shaping the direction of the Powder Mountain School for the short and long term.Key Responsibilities:* Be team-oriented and laser focused on providing a positive guest experience on the snow and in Powder Mountain facilities.* Oversee the secure Check in and Check out process.* Conduct proper class assignments to Pros, accounting for abilities of guests and team members* Ensure Pros are using Rosters and Progress Cards properly and consistently.* Primary point of contact for Pros to ask questions during instruction hours.* Aid in conflict resolution between guests and Pros.* Complete accurate labor reporting.* Strive to elevate quality of product and assign training as needed.* Updates the Staff Evaluation Tracking spreadsheet frequently with pertinent information used in Mid/End of Season Evaluations.* Day to Day forecasting and scheduling to match business needs.* Participate in all aspects of staff management, hiring, firing, disciplinary conversations.* Manage fencing and learning zone areas when needed.* Assist with neighbor programming when neededRequirements and/or Qualifications:* PSIA / AASI Level 2 or equivalentPhysical Requirements:* Full range of body movements* Reach, push, pull, lift, and carry objects that may be heavy (40+lbs)* Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and twisting* Walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain* Climb/descend stairs/ladders* Manual dexterity to operate manual tools and power equipment on a constant basis* Safely handle hazardous materialsWorking Environment:Must be able to work outdoors in extreme conditions for extended periods of time
