Job summary

Loveland Ski Area is seeking a Ski and Ride School Attendant for the seasonal, full-time/part-time post. The role requires weekend and holiday availability and includes operating the Magic Carpet, assisting in the Children’s Center, and ensuring guest safety and enjoyment throughout shifts.

You will perform opening/closing procedures, monitor lift operations, assist with check-in and rentals, and interact with guests to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must have basic computer skills to monitor job assignments and communications.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates Magic Carpet lift machinery and inspects records and reports/monitors mechanical conditions (Outdoor).
• Loads and unloads skiers, snowboarders and instructors in the Ski & Ride School teaching area to the Magic Carpet.
• Maintains safe levels of snow and safe walking surfaces around the lift station.
• Stops or slows the lift for safety and emergencies and to assist users.
• Performs daily opening, operations, and closing procedures for the Magic Carpet.
• Assists inside the Children’s Center with check-in, rentals, cleaning and supervision of students.
• Interacts with guests and employees to provide excellent guest service.
