Job summary

Powdr Corp. operates Snowbird's 71 Restaurant at Cliff Lodge. This host position is part-time with AM/PM shifts, including weekends and holidays. Benefits include ski pass, discounts, and health coverage options depending on position. A background check may be required.

The role involves warmly greeting and seating guests, managing waiting lists, and coordinating with servers to ensure a smooth dining experience while maintaining guest satisfaction during all service periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-6 months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.
• Must be 18+.
• Food Handler Permit.
• Demonstrate competency in operating dish machines and chemicals.
• Requires some exercise of judgement within policy guidelines and without supervisory approval.
• Requires problem solving and initiation of activities within job description and have a strong understanding of other Snowbird operations.

Responsibilities

• Graciously great and seat guests
• Adjust flow of guests with a waiting list
• Call out name and party number when table becomes available
• Once guests are seated, gently pass out menus and state the name of their server
• Review each table for proper presentation before guests are seated
• Talk with guests to ensure they are satisfied with their dining experience
• Respond to complaints and help resolve issues with appropriate team members
• Assist bussers and/or servers when appropriate
• Communicate with servers and managers
• Thank guests as they exist the restaurant
