Snowshoe Mountain is hiring for a full-time flex year-round on-site maintenance position in Snowshoe, WV. Pay is $15.25 per hour with housing available on-mountain. Qualifications

• 6-12 months in a related maintenance/groundskeeping role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resort common areas, grounds, walkways, steps, plazas, parking areas, and roadways (landscaping, hardscaping, maintenance, snow removal, ice control, trash removal)
• Perform daily inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety of common areas; keep detailed records and submit work orders
• Operate equipment safely; follow safety procedures; report hazards; monitor inventory and supplies; attend training; maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Provide friendly, efficient service to guests and staff; perform groundskeeping tasks (mowing, weeding, pruning, mulching, chemicals) and assist with construction tasks
• Ensure proper signage by painting and setting signs
• Perform snow removal and ice control using hand tools, snow blowers, and chemicals
• Contribute to team efforts and perform additional duties as assigned
