Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Intermediate skiing ability or higher.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and variable hours.
  • Must complete Winter4Kids training.
  • Outdoor winter work conditions required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor assigned terrain and facilities to promote participant safety.
  • Conduct daily trail inspections and identify hazards.
  • Mark hazards with signage, fencing, or netting.
  • Monitor changing trail and weather conditions throughout the day.
  • Perform lift safety observations and report concerns.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and incidents using established protocols.
  • Assess injuries and illnesses and provide Outdoor Emergency Care.
  • Safely transport injured participants and coordinate patient transfers.
  • Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation.
