Job summary

Loveland Ski Area is seeking a Ski Patrol - Paramedic Coordinator for the seasonal, part-time role. This position provides oversight and supports the medical readiness of the Loveland Paramedic Program and acts as the primary liaison between the Patrol Director and part-time staff.

Responsibilities include organizing the paramedic roster and ALS coverage, restocking drugs and oxygen, developing trainings and CE for the BLS component, providing paramedic coverage when needed, and engaging in

• Must hold EMT-Paramedic certification or license.
• Fluent English, reading and writing.
• Proficient computer skills for reporting and scheduling.
• Proficient skiing/snowboarding ability as determined by Patrol Leadership.

Job Title: Ski Patrol - Paramedic Coordinator - Seasonal, Part-Time - Returning Applicants Only

Type of Position: Part-time, Seasonal

Schedule: May include weekends/holidays

Pay Rate: Starts at $25.00/hr, based on skills and experience

Summary

Provide oversight and support to the Loveland Paramedic Program and support the medical readiness of Loveland Ski Patrol as a whole. Function as a main point of contact between the Patrol Director and the part-time paramedic staff. Every employee is responsible for providing a positive experience for our guests and employees, with safety and fun as our top priorities.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for organizing the paramedic roster and ensuring appropriate ALS coverage whenever possible
• Provide feedback to the Patrol Director regarding any paramedic staff performance, etc.
• Responsible for all ALS and BLS drug and medicine restock to include Oxygen
• Partner in designing and implementing trainings and CEs for the BLS component of the Ski Patrol (OECs and EMTs)
• Provide paramedic coverage as a paramedic
• Sweep and pre-sweep responsibilities
• Public relations and education

Requirements

• Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic Certification/License
• Understanding of, compliance with Denver Metro Protocols and essential medical equipment
• Minimum 3 years experience in the Loveland Ski Patrol Paramedic Program
• Proficient skiing/snowboarding ability as determined by the Ski Patrol Leadership Team
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English fluently , other language fluency helpful
